Default 2 x 7T pullers

1. I like a lot of wheelspeed
2. I like a lot of torque
3. I currently run a 7T puller in my SWX and I love it, for both of the above
4. I'm building a bully, but would 2 x 7T pullers simply just be tooo much?
5. I am nuts?

Those long motors will probably cause you problems with your links....depending on your chassis and link placement.

I've ordered a slingshot, would they go on that do you know? (maybe 10T now after a quick email to jrh)

Actually 2 x 35t torquemasters will be more sensible!

I've run a 7t in my ax10 and loved it. On my Bullys now I have 35t's and it not even close to the same. Run the 7t on a stick if you have to, for the hell of it. Make sure to post video.

honestly the 454's have clod stall....they just don't launch smooth enough for me...they are great super strong motors little motors...my dad has a Killer crawler with 7t's cobalt's and they works AWESOME on his rig...the 454's just seem to stall more then the bigger ones and my run times dropped off slightly too.
I'm much more happy with my standard holmes hand wound 35t's...and I been wanting to pick up some 40t's...

I would have done it on my Bully build with 2 of my 7T's, but getting the 2.5" long can to work with the lower links and still have a good amount of steering angle was a bear. I gave up and just put some badazz 35T's in.

I say go for the 35T's and call it good

Where did he mention the 454's? I can only assume he IS talking about the large one's.

he did not mention them......I mentioned them in my last post..but it was intercepted by the mods
and like I said before the big cobalts wont fit...thats why I mentioned the 454's

either way any regular motor is a better choice IMHO

no I did not try the 500's...they might fit?? but it will be really close??

454's are not just for MRC's...JRH site says you can run 454's on a 2.2

either way I still feel the regular 540 can motors are best for a 2.2 com rig...least for my style driving that is...

I am running 2 45t Holmes Torque Masters and they work very well. I think 7T might be way to much for crawling.

You do know that the 7t Pullers were talking about are not an actual "7t" in the same meaning that you refer to a 45t. The 7t pullers are an amazing motor for crawling...and you get some good wheelspeed at the same time.

I run twin 10T pullers in my Losi MOA. I have the power turned way down and still have a ridiculous amount of torque, great wheel speed, and yes...it still stalls.

If you can get them to fit, 10T's on 3s is AWESOME

the 454's can be used on a 2.2, but I think with these heavy b2's you need something with a bit more oomph, the 500 is the length of a 540 I believe
