I don't understand why only some of the images show up. :? Those other links are valid you can copy those image links into your browser if you'd like to see the other images. Or click here: http://a04-b04.mypicturetown.com/P2P...IUeB1y.JxPJHzg This build is not exactly comp legal. Front and Rear steering, it's 12&1/2" long axle to axle, 7&3/4" wide ctc of the tires, and has 3&1/4" of belly clearance. I went with a droop shock setup. I'm hoping this type of setup will be more capable than the standard build, we'll see [note how I mounted the lower links on the outside of the chassis]. I'll post some more images once I get the electronics in [maybe I'll join some other image host, so that the images will display properly]. Last edited by CoolRC; 08-26-2009 at 10:13 PM. |

I think it looks kinda cool with the DNA chassis and its so wide at the chassis there are no link rub issues. Hope it works out well for ya. And just remember if you can talk with an aussie accent you might be able to compete with w4s |

Here are some more pics. I slightly modified the suspension, this time I used those R cable-clips (similar to what the RCP Hustler does), for the lower mounts (and inverted the shocks). Now my articulation is much better. I bought some FX-R pros for this build, but upon initial power up one of them blew smoke, so while I wait on my RMA, I stripped on of my Supers of it Mamba Max ESCs. http://a04-b04.mypicturetown.com/P2P...qAEdr3TBJVXApB |

wow that looks expensive! super nice wheels also. What controller are you running? can't the Mamba run dual motors without a sweat? |

I'm running a dual stick Spektrum DX7SE. I like having two ESCs as it allows me to independently adjust the rates. I can also set drag brake to 100% and use that as my dig (though I notice that these brushed motors are not as strong as the Cobalt or Brushless at locking up the wheels). |
