Default Slingshot links/shocks

Just started my slingshot with new bully axles build
Struggling to get my head round the best way/good way to sort out the links

Do I use the slingshot links or would I be better off making some? (straight or bent?)

Seem to be having an issue with the underside of the vertical plate catching the gearbox

Also would I be better running some sorter shocks than the Losi 4'' I was planning use? Or should I limit them?

Any sugestions or pictures of setup would be appreciated

Ive thrown the towel in for now!
Cheers

I went htrough the same issue, only way I could get it set up was with 60/40. Used slingshot lowers on front uper and lower and uppers on rear uper and lowers. Losi shocks are a bit long, you will have to limit them to 3.5". I will be competing with my setup tomorrow and let you know how worthy it is. Belly height has me concerned at 3 1/4".

I am only using this chassis until my kk ST and links show up.

I also had to cut off about 1/4" off the rear vertical plate to stop contact with the gearbox.

3 1/4 does sound a bit high
what rod ends do you use?

I just picked up this chassis this week, maybe wrong choice?
I have a Vanquish Incision moa on order, see how that is when it turns up

I set my slingshot up using the lower links on the top and had to make new lower links on the bottom. Shocks, I used T maxx in droop. it worked ok, but I ditched it after the first comp I ran with it. (Droop sucks on MOA)

I use revo ends.

I wasn't real happy after the first comp with that chassis setup. I am going to wait until the KK chassis shows up to continue with it. I just feel like I am driving myself crazy for nothing.

One thing I do like is the 60/40 set-up. Breakovers were buttery smooth but could not adjust rear for climbs.

Just my 2 cents

60/40 is basically a ratio between the rear and the front links.

60/40 is more of a geteral term and doesnt always pertain to actual percentages. ex. the mantis chassis can be refered to as a "60/40" but is actually more like 75/25

the term can also be used in semi droop suspension setups
