Default how much torque

This question might need to be in the electronic section but i wanted bully guys to answer. Is a hitec 645mg servo with 170 oz.tq enough for a hellstrom bully with no weight in wheels. Or what is the best servo for these axles? Thanks for any info

id go with one of the stronger servos the 645 had a hard time with my axial in some situations and that thing was under 6 pds add 1-2 pds easy and some high grip surfaces = broken 645 lol im loving my jr8711 servo

good metal geared servo

I am happy with the Towerpro cheapie hi torques, and Blue Birds have been great, no issues with the Blue Birds at all, I run them in almost all my kits... Can get them cheap on ebay from dinball...

That said i've been thinking of scoring one of these:

468 oz in torque at 7.4v lol

I'm running an old 645 in mine until I can afford a new 7950th.
It works, but not well. Basically I can't turn without the truck moving either forward or backwards.

170-200 oz. used to be pretty good back in the day. If you want your steering to work good, more is better, but anything from about 350 oz and up would be my suggestion. A heavier truck like the Bully's will require a little stronger servo as well if you want to keep up with the lighter builds guys are running now.

Control is everything in crawling. If you can't turn, you can't control your truck.

I would also suggest 350+oz

my Futaba 9157 on my berg is 425oz. and sometimes that isn't enough.

I wouldnt run anything less than 300oz on V1 Bullys and 400oz on V2 Bullys just from the weight of the different axles with no weight in the wheels.
