| Thanks man! I'm certainly digging it. John does excellent work! I lurked around for a while checking out the other Skooter builds, and knew that's the one I wanted. Just messing around at home I can see a difference from my previous build, it seems well balanced and very fluid like. I'm really happy with where it's at now, so I think just the minor tweaking will be needed. I'm chomping at the bit to get it out on the rocks. |

Weighed it tonight and it came in at just under 6lbs, 5lbs.-10oz. to be exact. Right where I wanted to be. Going down to do some testing tomorrow, I'll get some action shots.

I know Shon's rig is workin well too cuz his is the only other rig at our last local comp to take the same 12" breakover climb that the GX2 did. People can say what they want about the Bully's being heavy compared to some others..but they freakin climb sick. Drive time Shon...My GX2 is workin really well too. I love my Bully's. Shon did you see the comp series standings? |

Should have picked that line to begin with, well I did, but chickened out at the last second. Gut told me I could make it, but the brain said play it safe.....needless to say I think the gut was right. I've seen lots of videos of guys making break overs like that with the same belly clearance as mine, 3.5", so I knew it was possible. But when you watch some of the other better drivers not even trying it.....well you know. Wasted all my time trying to drive safe instead of by my gut instinct , just to kill the clock in the end anyway. I'm my own worst critic, lol. Oh well, next comp I drive from the gut, I know what my rig can do, I just got to trust it and trust my gut. I didn't look at the series standings yet. I missed the first comp so I'm most likely in the basement. HAHA! Quote:
Forgot my camera, and the guy that is usually taking pics, wasn't there. I'll get some at the next comp or maybe some at practice time. Thanks man! 53Willys said I'd love the Skooter, and boy was he right! Rig works awesome, now I need to learn how to drive it. Last edited by R2j; 02-11-2010 at 10:32 AM. | ||

| I wouldn't go back at all. Once I got passed the set up part, I couldn't be happier! It is a completely different rig than the Berg was, specially since the only parts reused were the electronics. I absolutely love how this thing performs! Now I need the damb snow to go away so I can get some more wheel time! |

We better stop setting dates for our comps, and then maybe....just maybe it won't snow on that day. |

Ha same here with the snow, but it was warm today and melted some. Thanks! I really like the Skooter, all be it small and takes some brain work to make it all come together, it was worth the time it took. Best performing rig for me to date. |

What is the widthe of the skid on the Scooter? The chassis Im using has a 2" skid and I really like your upper link setup. Im might be talking to you in the near future for a similar set of uppers.

It is 1.75". That's why I went to the out side so I would still have some room for the electronics. Works well with them set up like that. Let me know. |
