| Yes or No on wheel weights?
Here's my setup. I'm running a cast front and machined rear axle with no weight right now. Ran one comp and it seems to be doing pretty well with some fairly heavy wheels. I ordered a set of SLW's and am wondering if anyone else is running the same axles as me and the SLW's? If so, are you running any weight up front or is just the weight of the axle enough? Thanks... |

My 2 sons run case up front and machine in the rear, they both got SLW and they don't have any added weight in the wheels.

Its going to come down to personal preference and driving style. I run vanquish DH wheels with 2 weights in each front and none in the rear on the same setup. |

| I couldn't agree with you more. I know alot of it has to do with driving style and personal preference but I was curious to see what others were doing. I'm pretty sure with these wheels I'm going to get my rig down between 6 & 7 lbs which is a big change from the 8.5lbs it was a few weeks ago so theres going to be quite a learning curve to figure out how to drive this thing.

| x2...I lightened up my rig a ton!!!!...ended up adding weight back on because it would not climb like it used too...thats about the only time I felt a super light weight rig did not help..on the climbs..
