Bully axles with losi chassis I was looking at the bully axles to replace my losi moa's and i was wondering if i could mount bullies to a lcc chassis, |
Whats the width of a losi chassis. |
i was looking at doing something like that but noticed that the top link holes on a shafty chasis isnt rite . they will always run down hill nt flat so i think you will have bite prob. |
With the gearbox and motor,it'd be very close...if it'd even work mounting the lowers. The Losi skid puts the lowers as triangulated as a set of lowers can get.:ror: Might work though The vertical separation of the upper and lower link mounting points on a Bully,or any other MOA style axle,is a BIG difference when compared to a Losi axle. That coupled up to a Losi chassis....I think your link configuration and squat numbers are going to be all to poop. Will it bolt up?...Maybe. I honestly think you'd be better off getting a different chassis designed for a standard MOA axle. A chassis I've just started running,it's done nothing but amaze me every time I've run it. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...s/100_0102.jpg Cracker Jack |
I'm not sure it will bolt up unless you put some serious bends in your links. As has been mentioned, the Lois lowers are very close at the skid, which will make clearing the Bully gear case a challenge. Also, the Losi upper link mounts on the axles are a lot lower than the Bullys. Of course, if you have the parts already, you can try and see what happens. I'd be interested to see a picture if you do. |
derwood just did this... hey derwood post some pics lets see that thing.. |
I didn't know losi had a moa axle , can someone post a link i can't seem to find anything on it. |

Sorry the pics suck. Heres my Bullies on a Losi chassis. I've been running it for awhile now. I performs good and I've been very happy with it. http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...g?t=1273094971http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...g?t=1273094897 http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...g?t=1273095073http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...g?t=1273095095 http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...g?t=1273094737http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...g?t=1273095033 |
