| Hardware/bearing list?
Has anyone done this yet? Or even an exploded view? I want to get all the screws I need is standard steel instead of SS and I want to change out all of my bearings as well. It would be really helpful if there is a list so I don't have to take everything apart and measure everything. If I do have to do it I will post up a list of what is needed for just the axles. Obviously different chassis will have slightly different hardware needed. Thanks Results: Front knuckle bearings (two per knuckle): 8x12mm Rear outer bearings (one per tube): 6x10mm Link mount bolts (4 per axle): 12x3mm Button Head Tube to gearcase mount bolts (4 per tube, upper bolt on short tube requires thick washer): 8x3mm Socket Cap Bully front axle bearings 6x 8x12x3.5 4x 5x10x4 2x 6x10x3 Last edited by Scottmisfits; 08-29-2010 at 08:34 AM. Thanks Jeremy. I just hadn't gotten around to doing it with seperate electric and nitro races lately. I haven't even thought of my crawler for a bit. Maybe one of the tech savvy computer guys can do a little bit of an exploded view or a cad type drawing, not to exact spec's and just list what screws go where for the newer guys coming to the Bully's. |

Here you go guys. I took apart the front axle so I only have dimensions for the bearings up front. Knuckles=8mm ID 12mm OD 3.5mm thick there are 6 total of these in the front axle so there are 2 more in the gear case. Gear Case=5mm ID 10mm OD 4mm thick Only four of this size in the front axle. Inner shaft=6mm ID 10mm OD 3mm thick And there are only 2 of these in the front axle. These are the only 3 sizes used in the bully axles. |

Does anyone know the size of the pins in the V6 XVD's? No one in town stocks RC4WD parts and i need a pin. Mine is shaped like a "Z". I just need something to get me by until i can get a new set from RC4WD.

Mine appear to be the same size as what is my Traxxas Slash, 2WD. I believe the pins are pretty much standard. You could take the Hex with you and see what matches it. Heck, take the whole darn rig and maybe you'll get some more people there interested in crawling. |

I'd stick with the drill bit my self, depending on its material.
