| Anyone tried running 65:1 gear case on their 2.2
Just like the title says just wondering if anybody has tried this and what their opinion is on them. I believe the cases are a little over a 1/4" longer than the original gear ratio case.

IMO, that would be geared too low for these small tires. I already run a 35T motor and 14/15T pinion combo. You'd probably need to run something like a 20T motor on those. I also think you'll have issues with the links contacting the longer gearcase...

Ya I thought about the linkage hitting the side of the gear case. So you are already running this in your super then with the 35t and 14/15 tooth pinions?

I'm currently running 45t banzai motors on 4cell. I have a set of 35t motors I could try on 4cell with this gear case.
