Default Dr.Frank's back

Hello,

after riding the XR (and it will stay in the stable) i made the decision to rebuild my Bully baby, cause i need a rig which i can relay on during a comp and don't be afraid of gear and bearing breakage

I made my some Ti lower links and Aloy uppers, a new skid with electronic and battery tray and a new steering linkage.

But have a look by your self:

...to be continued

I'd like to have a skid like that! I mentioned it to somebody I know who sells that kind of stuff, but I guess I'll have to make my own. See, Jarod, I'm not the only one who thought this would be a good idea!

BTW, nice to have you back, Dr. Frank!

Very nice i have been on the fence for about 3 weeks, bully verses-xr it seems they both have there highs and lows. I think i want a bully. What axles combo are you running machined-cast parts. It looks like you have been down this road before with some sucess.

I'm running the superlight machined version front and rear, the only changed two things, first i did dremeled out the knuckles and tubes for more steering, second i changed the outer XVD's to Super Bully ones
(changing of the XVD's isn't really necessary).

The advantage of the Bullys is the bullet proofness.

looks reallllllly awesome! how was working with the titanium? I have been wanting some ti uppers but I've been scared to work with the material!

those knuckle weights are amazing too!

are you running a flanged bearing upside down on your tie rod? and is there a ton of benefit to running the super xvd outers?

If you have a good lathe tools and don't remove to much material at once, now problem, it's a bit like stainless steel.

There are not tons of benefit, but a few big ones. They can take a lot of abuse and will give you a lot of steering.
