| Front axle clocking and servo placement
I've clocked my front axle by shortening my front uppers. This gives positive caster which in turn improves steering. I have my servo located between the axle and motor, like most Bully drivers do. Both the servo and the front motor is now hanging very low. I'm thinking I should clock the axle by drilling new mounting holes on the axle tubes instead. This would allow me to get the motor up and out of the way and still have positive caster. But I'm afraid there won't be room to keep the servo between the axle and the motor. It would be nice to see pictures of clocked front axle tubes and how you've mounted your servos. Thanks! Tomi |

Eritex sells a clocking jig to get the tubes 15* of caster, you can still get the servo between the axle and motor, you just have to be more creative with the mounting. I"ve drilled clean through the front of the tube and put in some tapped holes.

I don't know if this helps a bit, but here's my setup. The pic turned out a little blue and I didn't really have patience to dick with the camera setups . |

Nice servo plate, Valtteri. But how high have you clocked your motor? |
