Samu, do you run standard CI foams or do you cut them for the skinny ans super skinny voodoos? I have some skinny voodoo's and the 6.0 CI look a bit wide, even with 1'' wheels.... |

| Re: RC4WD Bully 2 a.k.a Koppensneller I got your foams for you and they aren't the standard C.I. Foams.. They are the narrowed ones... 6.0 front with soft outers and 5.5 rear with medium outers comp cut inners front and rear... Eddie sells the narrowed ones now on his site Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Has been a long time without even touching this rig. Still had few things to do before continuing to indoor comp next weekend. Shock filling in progress. Gonna try 40wt in all four shocks. Time to open the hood for checking the (shock) oils. RTR weight before comp. It's one fatty bully even with the lighweight motors. Aluminium screws are coming to next comp though. Will be cool comp with ten participants. Can't wait to challenge LaaLaa in his home ground. Last time we were at the same comp he beated me. Will be tough race for sure. Now that I remember, I haven't driven a single indoor comp with this rig. Time to make the first the good one. And it's the first test to my new motors as well. I'll add pics and video later on. |

Okey, Indoor comp now behind without too great smile on my face. Comp spot was great. The best you can hope for in the middle of the winter. I was the first one to go on the first course. The new motors was really hard to predict. They were fast, maybe too fast for this terrain. I had 14t pinions and in the indoor course, there seemed to be at least 2t too much. On the other hand, when you needed the power... It was quaranteed brood power!! My driving wasn't too good either. For example this spot I made with my shafty easily, but no luck with the pro. At least I finished it. With third worst score though... I wasn't able to finish the next course. I didn't got a good feeling for the rig in whole day. This course went little better, but I was still sitting in the low end of the result field. Suspension felt a little stiff there, I might change the springs from rear shocks to red medium ones. Gate three and turning in the corner. Stop time!! Here is the last course on video. This was the best for me in the whole day. But still no good performance. On the other hand I ended up fourth with a worst comp of this rig's career. Lasse would've still be in his own league, even if my rig would have been working. But I would have give a hell of a fight to my brother of the second spot. Next time. Now I have five weeks to get this dialed in for the next comp, which is (thank god) outdoors. Tires came yesterday, so I can soon start glueing. Sometimes you have to have a bad comp, so you can remeber how good it feels not to have it.

I finally got the new tires for this thing. And start glueing. Exactly same kind of set that I've been using eight months now. I hate glueing as much as I hate soldering. Good thing, that I don't have to do this more often. Ready! Again, beautiful job on these Everett! Now attached to the rig. Looks like a new! I have to cut some pins off right away. Forgot about that. Gonna do some testing weekend, if we find a place to try these out. Hoping there will be sunshine and many positive degrees outside! |

Hi Samu! I was shocked when I saw the table... Samu is not on the top The location looks hard and tough, especially narrow Which inner foam are you running? CompCut? Have you naarowed them? |

Here's my tire setup: Tires: E.Y. Designs Narrowed Ottsix Voodoos (Narrow golds front and ultra narrow silvers rear) Wheels: Dlux Solid Face CF (0.87" front and 0.72" rear) Foams: Crawler Innovations Double Deuce (5.5" front and 6.0" rear) Narrow and Comp Cut both. I was doing some training and few modifications to the rig after the indoor comp. All of my rigs are almost ready. Here you can see some art made by Krawler Konceptz. Back to last years Worlds suspension setup. LaaLaa was driving his SuDu Pro with this mod in the indoor comp, and it got me thinking, why I even changed it. Shock cap mod and some more ground clearance is achieved. Also a lot of stability. This time though, I hot glued the caps. No shock oil was found outside of the shock after ten batteries. Ready for training. Oh wait! I still have to cut some pins. On the left you can see my cutting style on the front tires. On the right there is my cutting to the rear tires. Now it's ready for testing! RFOT training day was about to begin! Rig felt much better with this suspension setup. But it still needs tuning here and there. Good thing is that I have time now. On sunday I drove again and the only problem was one missing knuckle screw. So this thing holds on to it's own pretty well. Few more weeks before the comping season starts on it's full power. On that time I have to make this as good as possible. I'll continue on tuning and testing now. Last edited by Zarizi Tech; 03-02-2015 at 10:47 AM.

Work with this rig continues. Replacing some of the steel hardware to aluminium. Also putting in a new set of shafts. Some weight saved. Also changed the hole of my drag link. It was getting too much contact with the steering link in the last hole. 12g total saving. And it looks much better now. Work contiues next weekend. I ordered 11t pinions for this thing to get the speed down with the new motors. We'll see how it does when those will arrive. |

I am surprised you have not upgraded the axle shafts like the S truck. I have a few lines here at my place that I could not pull with the cvd's. With the buggy universals it was up and over.

After many, many, many, many batteries of training I can share my feelings of the rig now. One of the spots we were training on. Lot's to drive in there. Now that I changed the front shafts to new ones, the rig is doing like it should. Just as well as in the Worlds last year. The motors are still an issue though. But hopefully the cure is on it's way. I ordered 12T and 11T pinions for testing. Can't wait to have another go with those. Skins have been in touch with the rocks, I'll have to admit that. Once I have tested the new pinions, I'll post an update. Stay tuned! |
