Thanks Michelle they look Killer!

Little bit of an update...

Received some links in the mail today from Mr DLux... These are perfect... Nice bends in them and just the right length... Also got a tierod and Draglink for it...

Front axle is looking complete now...

Got my wheels and tires all done for this truck now... Went with the same setup as my 2.2 Shafty truck... Ultra Narrowed Half golds/half silver VooDoo's... I have C.I. Narrowed foams in them, Fronts are 5.5 CC inners with the channel cut out and soft outers... Rears are 6.0 CC inners with Medium outers...

Front Pin Cut

Rear Pin Cut

More to come once I get a few more parts...

Everett,

Your build looks amazing, beautiful components for sure. Do you have any concerns about the CF panels on the cab of your chassis durring a roll over? I would cringe seeing that thing land on its lid. Also, the threaded inserts that you installed, do they have a flange on the back-side to prevent being pulled out of the plastic portion?

The CF is very strong, it takes a crazy tumble to brake it., as for the inserts they are glued in.
So far so good, i didn't glue mine just out of curiosity :-).

Not really I've been running a CF chassis for a very long time with no issues at all.... Also with body panels on it'll protect it better if it falls on its lid.... There is no flange like Chevotafun said but they are glued in so no worries about coming out at all

I figured as much, I've seen a few posts about guys taking a spill and busting a tang off of the front or rear, snapping where it's thin from the shock holes. I'm sure the electronics trays take a beating as well.

Do you know off of the top of your head how thick those CF panels are?

Yeah Tobias uses very strong Cf for the chassis so I'm not worried about it breaking at all...

Checked with Tobias and it's 1.5mm for the lower part and 2mm for the cab...

Thanks I love it too!

Umm I'll try and get a picture for you tomorrow

Got the last of what I needed for this truck to get it to a roller... Got my hubs and upper links for it...

Few things that'll still need to be done to it. Need to add shock oil and limit the shocks some... I'm going to swap the electronics from my XR over to it hopefully sometime this week so I can get out driving...

It is currently sitting at 2 lbs 14 oz (1304 g) minus electronics with the front fully loaded with 3.1 oz (88 g) of weight per side...

Couple pics of how it sits...

Ride height

Has a good amount of steering and tires don't get into the links/shocks at all

Big thanks to RC4WD for the Axles and happy to be driving for them again in 2016

Trucks coming out real good - I love the red on black but even the whites giving this thing some pop. Bully 2's are getting more tempting the more I see of them.

That looks so good Everett it would be a shame to put body panels on it.
