Not questioning you here but what is the benifit of the blackwells? I know nothing about them and I'm a little curious if there is some reason why you would want to use these over the yota axles which I thought are super nice. Nice rig by the way!!

Good Question.

Benefit hmm... Got to be the Wow factor I suppose. Dont get me wrong I am a fan of the Yota Axles had three sets just wanted something different on my TF2.

I suppose if your looking for a Benefit the prop angle is alot better underneath more clearance as they bolt up higher.

Also putting Steering behind the Axle is easier with these.

At the end of the Day I cant justify the Coin that these cost over the Yoa's but I have wanted a set since they came out and was in a position to get some so I thought what the heck.

And it looks wicked with that Faux Brake Disc spinning when your going down the trail.

Pics finally after a mammoth Rewire thats not yet finished

Just got the Winch to mount up front now

Issues when mounting not many.
1) I had to raise the Steering Servo up by a Green Axial Spacer to clear the axle under full compression
2) I used the Bruiser Shackles on the Front
3) I used the Servo Mounting Blocks on the Rear Axle to mount the Shocks (They move under full flex of the shooters)

Other than that Straight Bolted them up ready to rock and roll. As a matter of course I added XVD's to the front.

Wow. Probably the cleanest yota I've seen yet. Those BW's really look great.

Pure awesomeness man!!!! I noticed you have some different setup on your leafs that I am now considering. The shackles are hitting the front lower valance just sitting at normal ride height and limiting articulation so I see guys are flipping the shackles around on the front leafs. I'm wondering if doing this frees up the front suspension so I can get the max articulation or will the pivoting shackles bottom out at the back where the arch of the frame is giving me about the same amount of travel I have now. I also find that having the leafs setup like the kit instructions say makes the front really stiff when hitting things head on, like if you push up on the front of the tires its still but if you push up from the back of the tires its a bit more free moving. Makes no sense cause it's not like you run in reverse on the trail??? I see your using shooter shackles too and am considering ordering those today as well to get a bit more travel. I want to get about 3-4" of travel if possible out of this guy if possible. What is the leaf mount on the front of your rig? Sorry first leafed truck and I'm really struggling to get this thing setup to my likings but it's also hard cause I have no clue what a leafed truck can do. Thanks

Finally got a bit of me time this afternoon!!
I will finish this soon promise

Since I put a full floor in this I was having trouble finding somewhere to put the battery.
So Toolbox was the only thing I could come up with.

made from Styrene and some checker plate

Really nice build, love the slider mounts trimmed by about 10mm, really brings them in closer to bottom of cab where they should be. The Ford metallic orange paint is wow, bobbed bed and white paint are nice too! Wish your video links still were valid, youtube came back missing on all of them. Any updates?
