Default n00b's "Breaker-Breaker" RC4WD Trail Finder 2 *Video 4-14*

Thanks to the folks at RC4WD for giving me the opportunity to snag one of these kits. Stoked!

Like the others have said, the packaging is pretty awesome.

Lots of kit for the price!

Look at this thing!

and this!

Time to build. I'll be back in a bit!

Lol, I like the label on the card

Got the tires mounted to the wheels.

Chassis is mostly built. Piece of cake.

I like the fact that every different type of hardware has its own bag with a label. Never built a kit with this much detail.

The pictures on the stand in the garage are awesome. I was hoping you would do one of these! Tear it up!

I'll try not to make you wait that long. Staying up until I get it done.

I figured a build this important deserves a good shop build. Wish I had more details in the garage though.

Suspension and axles installed. I only used one helper spring and removed the springs from inside the shocks. They had a little oil in them for lubrication and I reckon that's good enough for me.

Installed all of the go parts. Pretty low budget... Tamiya silver can, MG995 steering servo, Traxxas shifting servo, Axial ESC, GT3B radio. Good enough for a noob.

I present the RC4WD Mojave body set.

The body is superb. Bolt on door handles, fewer holes, very sturdy.

The bed feels very stout. I especially like the fuel door.

Nicely detailed cab backs and square headlight grille.

Good to see the garage is getting used. When you're finished building this, can you get some detailed pics of it side by side your orange one?

I'm really liking this kit, can't wait to see what custom stuff you have planned for it.

Finally put the garage to use. It's fun posting builds from it, might have to do it more often.

I'll get some pictures for you once it thaws out and dries off from my romp outside.

I'm awake! Which garage, big or small?

I woke up early to finish the truck. The body is only in primer since I'll be hacking it up soon.

Enough of that, let's see it outside!!

I opted to keep the "factory" bumper off in exchange for the tube bumper.

Took it for a spin in my backyard RC playground.

The only damage done was to the mirrors. The are fine, I just didn't give the shoe goo enough time to cure before I went out in the cold.

I'm editing the video now.

Looks good on some rocks, I've been waiting for that.

Are the mirrors the rubber style offered on the site or plastic?

Do the tail light lenses fit flush to the bed sides or do they stick out a bit like the Tamiya parts? I was super stoked when I saw the first thread on the TFII, and I stil am but after looking at everyones' build threads, what I really want right now is one of those R3 trans and new T-case for my 1/6th scale Willys.

Can the stock front bumper be used with the tube bumper?
