| ? about Hammer T-case
As I continue to wait with anticipation for the email from rc4wd that says ' send us the money, your kit is in! ' I've been reading the team members threads whom have built the kits, and the newer pics that keep showing up on the rc4wd website, I've noticed something on the t-case. It looks like it might be possible to run the input shaft into the opposite side of the case so that the output shafts would be offset to the passenger side ( obviously not on the TFII chassis, but for another project) Can Katan or anyone else confirm this? Also, has anyone tried to mount up a Tamya rear step bumper to the body? I can't remember the last time I was this excited about a kit, I usually would buy something knowing it was only to get a few choice parts and everything else was going to have to be fabricated/ adapted, not so with this one. I have a short list of things I want to change but they are strictly cosmetic, I think that this kit is a winner and it will be the new "standard" for all others to compare to for a long time to come, if anyone even dares to make something that might be able to compare. |

the input shaft is reverseable. i haven't done this(mostly cause i wanted to build mine box stock)..but upon disassembly for pics of the gears i tried flipping the shaft to see if it would work and it definitely is reversible. |

| Re: ? about Hammer T-case OH, this is GOOD news for me! Giving the ability to flip the spool inside of the Wraith axles will make it easy to get the rotation going in the right direction. * rubs hands together*- heheheheheheheheheheheh

Wow that is awesome news and hadn't even considered this before. Making things that work in multiple situations just adds value in my book. It does seem that rc4wd has raised the bar for scalers

| Re: ? about Hammer T-case wouldn't that work without reversing the input? Great idea regardless. The more that I think about what I want to do with some of these components the more likely it seems that my first TFII kit will get parted out. |
