Default RC4WD Superlift shock question - adding oil

I recently purchased a set of RC4WD Superlift shocks for my TF2 build. I'm going remove the internal spring in the shocks and fill with oil. I've read that these types of shocks will/can leak pretty bad.

Are there any tips or tricks to keep these shocks from leaking oil? I was told to use green slime. Green slime actually helps keep the seals from swelling, caused by silicone shock oil. I have also heard that soaking the shock seals in shock oil overnight will help keep them from leaking. Soaking them in shock oil overnight will cause them to swell at a faster rate.

If anyone has any input, I would appreciate the help!

Thanks!

If the shocks leaks it should help for the o ring to swell to stop the leak... No?
