Default My TF2/M2 build

I thought I'd share a few pics of my new Trail Finder2 with the new improved body kit. I Have already linked the front end and installed some K44 axles just for the heck of it. I also want it to be different than my other Trail Finder. The pics show it sitting high, higher than my other TF... But I have since lowered it a ton, I'll get pics of that later. I also have painted it in a different scheme this time as well still trying to make it look some what factory...

How do you like the k44 axles vs the yota axles, by the way would you like to sell the yota axles?

I like them, I have swapped them into a couple of my other crawler/scalers... I basically put them under this new TF2 just to change it up a bit from my old TF2... Haven't really thought about selling them, I wouldn't be opposed to the idea.

Well if you want to get rid of them send me a message, do the k44 seem stronger then the yota axles because I have been contemplating on switching over my trail finder 2 to the k44 axles

I'm not sure about the gears, but I like that the k44s have decent xvd in the front axle... I'll give some thought about selling the yota axles.

I added an RC4WD Body lift kit to this truck, but I installed it up side down and lowered the body instead. I love the stance it has now.

I'm running a Tekin 30T hand wound motor with a Holmes Hobbies Torque Master ESC and a Hitech 7954 Steering Servo. I stuffed the electronics up with the motor under the hood. Hopefully I can get the light kit installed tomorrow and take it out for a test run. Still need to figure out a shift servo set up...

Nice setup. I've started playing around with building electronics decks underhood in my new TF2 and TF2 SWB, and will be doing the same in several of my other builds. It really opens up a lot of real estate. Out of curiosity, I don't see an external BEC in your pix - are you planning on running one?

I decided to use the Holmes Hobbies esc because it has a good internal bec. Also I can still set it up with my Castle link too. I've been running this same set up in my Gelande 110 with great results.

They do seem to hang out a bit on the sides... I'll post up a couple pics when I get home.

Decided to go with my original lifted version, with the big 1.9 tires/wheels in the first pic. I installed a tube rear bumper, roll bar and front push bar. Also put some light housings on it, haven't wired them up yet. Finally took it out got it dirty, rolled it and busted a couple of my lights LOL. I also trimmed the front push bar mounting posts and tucked it closer to the front bumper after this little run. So far it performed very well.

Thank you!

The roll bar and bumpers are newer CChand parts.
