Default Rc4wd topless blazer

Sitting in a hotel in Mississippi gets really boring ,I have been here for two weeks doing controlled burns with a helicopter .i had my wife send me some of my tools and electronics .i bought a tf2 slider and everything else from rpp. When rc4wd came out with the blazer I knew I had to have one and it was going to be topless like my 73 k5.Rc4wd did an amazing job on this body and the details are over the top I just wish they would also come out with a 71 k5 blazer any way here you go.

Looks good, have you thought about a rollbar of some sort to protect the winshield area in the event of a rollover?

Yes I will be building a roll bar for it but probably not till I get home in May.i need to find a light kit for it and do something about the gap in the floor.

I am thinking abut doing the same, I had a 74 1:1 myself. Stock it had a cheesy factory "roll bar". And a simple rear seat, yours looks very nice. And the local Hobby Shop has two in stock

Thanks ,I hope they don't rub too much I had to go a different route to mount the body to clear the tires.it is mounted to the front and back using the bumpers and the chassis mounts that you are suppose to remove.

I don't have the V8 but just running the numbers through a gearing calculator says the R4 trans results in about 1 mph more in top speed than the stock trans in low gear and about 3 mph less than high gear (based on a 35T on 2S in a stock truck). So it is a little more than low gear of the R3 but much lower than high gear if that is the range you are looking for.

Great looking rig, those foams really changed the looks of your tires.
What hubs/wheel nuts are you using?

took it out for the first time and it did really good but I am not liking how high it looks and the tires rubbing .I took the wideners off before the run and it did roll over a couple of times until I learned how to drive it gonna have to look into smaller tires and maybe 1.55.or what do you guys think ?

I agree, looks great but little too high and tires/wheels little too large. I think it's better without the wideners, just gotta learn to drive better. I'd go with some 1.55, maybe 1.7 wheels and tires. 1.55 Mud Slingers, Rock Stompers, or Baja Claws would look sweet.
