I will just leave this here for discussion...but I will say that RC4WD has knocked it out of the park once again IMO.

Body does look cool. At first I thought the chassis was longer but it's the same chassis set up just a way shorter bed to make up for the extra door. Pretty neat!

It's actually a longer wheel base (LWB)...

TF2 Truck Dimensions
Wheels base: 287mm (11.3")

TF2 LWB Truck Dimensions
Wheels Base: 12.36in/314mm

I wonder what's the tab looking piece hanging down under the cross brace just behind the transfer case skid?

That's most likely there for a fixed shaft that mounts between the transfer case and the rear Universal Drive shaft. It means you don't need as long a shaft in the rear. They have a similar design on the D110.

I don't need another crawler, but every time I see the Trailfinder Mojave kits, I just want to get one and build a scale rig to look at and admire at how pretty it is. The LWB looks awesome.

Well that's kinda what I thought, but wasn't sure. I had to take a look and download the manual to confirm that my eyes wasn't playing tricks on me. So in other words,it acts like a carrier bearing.

That 4 door cab just made extended cabs soooo much easier.

Would probably add some small details, but keep it mostly stock. Paintjob would be something retro-ish, like this, only 4 door:

The body looks soooo nicely detailed, I feel it would be a shame to overdo it on the offroading part.

I think this would require me stretching the wheelbase even more.... and add an extra axle.... Would be a fun build though
