| RTR TF2 build (Tips Appreciated)
Parts list so far: Steel punisher drive shafts XVD axle shafts Rc4wd Flares Rc4wd Snorkel Rc4wd canopy Rc4wd stamped beadlocks in black Rc4wd front inner fenders Rc4wd 3 link Warn Rock Crawler front bumper Warn 9.5 CTI winch Warn wireless winch controller Warn "locking" front hubs/SSD hubs rear Tough armor rear bumper with hitch Hobbywing ESC Parts I'm waiting on to arrive: Castle BEC RRD Emulsion shocks 90mm (front)/110mm (rear) Rc4wd 4 link 1.55 Pit Bull Rock Beast Wish list: Boom racing skid Suggestions???? Background: This is my first TF2 or hard body for that matter. I used to be big into the 1:5-1:8 world with 5ive's and Mugen buggies so this was a fun challenge for me. I've checked everything for adequate grease, loose screws and loctite everything that would need it. I'm now just awaiting my final parts and some soldering here and there. Biggest challenge to me was the canopy, it wouldn't sit 100% flush and I sadly rushed myself on it. For my first I think it's turned out alright, what do you think? Any suggestions on mods or upgrades? Thanks for looking! |

Before you install the 4 link, drive the leaf springs first. I would also look into the Gelende 2 shock hoops for the front and longer shocks. I moved my rear shocks to the front and got 100mm shocks for the rear. I added the Teraflex revolver shackles to the rear, which worked great with the 100mm shocks |

Oh no. The screw in the trans is to long. Surprised it even goes. Gonna strip the gears. Oh and the right front knuckle is bad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

| Re: RTR TF2 build (Tips Appreciated) Front shocks installed today (still waiting for 4 link to do rears). Thinking I'm gonna get some Glendale hoops to take the lift away they gave it. There's some binding in the shocks I need to deal with, but just minor stuff. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

| RTR TF2 build (Tips Appreciated) Moved shock hoops back (ditched inner fenders) as experiment, fixed all my binding. Now I know where to place Glendale hoops when they arrive. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

| Re: RTR TF2 build (Tips Appreciated) Testing Leds, no controller yet just an on and off switch. Have rock lights on the way and then she should be plenty bright enough for some night runs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

| Re: RTR TF2 build (Tips Appreciated) Quick update, been a busy week. Got bench seat in, now to find a driver. Threw some steel marlin sliders on. Switched from Punisher shafts to Junfac. Ended up going with Baja Claws instead of Pit Bulls. Rock Lights installed. RC4WD wireless light controller. She’s about 97% done, just waiting on some decals and some Glendale shock hoops. Thanks for looking! More updates to come! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
