You are correct. There is no limit to wheelbase or track width, just as long as your build is scale.

I'm still waiting to see a 6x6 in the G6.

The stages are not prejudice to any one type of rig. A fully leaf sprung hilux won the first G6 and it was the most scale truck competiting.

Just remember, you will encounter everything imaginable and ALL gates/trail markers must be driven; even if you have to winch thru them. There is no bypassing a gate, straddling a gate, or backing out of a gate once it has been driven.

The gates/trail markers are there to define the stage route and will cost you a time penalty if you hit one.
