| RECON G6 Challenge VP's Pumpkin Pie & Pilgrims G6 Challenge
We got a few calls to our shop today asking how to get to Pioneer Park for tomorrow. Here is the directions: 1. Exit Hwy 49 in Nevada City using the Broad St EXIT. 2. Turn Right onto Broad St., you will come to four way stop. 3. Continue straight through the 4 way stop. This will put you on Boulder St 4. Continue up Boulder St to the next 3 way stop. 5. Turn right onto Park Ave. 6. Continue straight through the stop sign on Park Ave. (DO NOT TURN Right on Nimrod) 7. You will see the baseball diamond on your right. Continue driving and you will see a driveway on your right where you enter the public parking, called Max Solara. (BEWARE! There are 2 Max Solara Drives! It used to be a road that went all the way through the park. This is the one you want! Not the Other Max Solara) Its' a big park so look for the G-Train nearby. It should be easy to find. Awesome time today, thanks guys and sponsors. The location was awesome, and I think the weather made it better. I am glad that guy didn't freak out and kick us off his land.

Trail markers 80ish-115ish were in somones backyard, that big gray house overlooking the creek. The guy came down wanting to know what was going luckily someone with much better diplomatic skills then myself talked to him and explained to him what was going on and then he was cool.

What a fun day of hanging out with old friends and getting a great workout playing with our trucks! Thanks to Parker, Brad, Stewart, and the entire recon crew for putting on another great event! The guy who owned the property was cool. He was pissed at first but after we spoke with him he was smiling and understood what we were doing. He just said he didn't want loud music, graffiti, and garbage left on his property. Clint and I explained to him that we would leave his property clean and we assured him that we would all be respectful to the neighborhood. Hope to see you all at the birthday bash! Rich |

when was the last time you "drove" over Thanksgiving dinner. Parker, it was only missing the turkey. i had mashed potatoes and mixed veggies all in my rig after flipping over in it. now i think i know why Steve's dog was chasing after them when we were done. thanks for the day Recon And crew, hope to make the birthday bash next month. |
