Default My RS10 and Creeper

Heres my Redcat RS10 since Ive had a few ask about it. So far mods consist of true 4 linked, STRC 30* bent lowers, lowered reciever/ESC tray, CC BEC, custom delrin skid, internal shock spring (sprung setup) and relocated shocks, Axial wheels with Comp Claws, custom carbon fiber 4 link mounts (on axles), locked out rear steerand deans connectors on all connections. As of right now it crawls extremely well but Im going to make a could more tweaks and see if it can get better. Im also ordering a FLM SPV2 chassis next week so Ill have more updates coming. The Redcats have a ton of potential and anyone that ever said there arent any parts for them obviously didnt know what they were talking about!!! Heres some pics!!

Heres a pic ofmy Creeper and RS10. Im not sure what direction Im going with the Creeper yet, but it will likely get converted back to a comp rig for sportsman class.

Yes, the RS10 uses 12mm hex. So far RS10, Axial and creep offset all work well. The Axial and RS10 are virtually the same and the Creeper wheels give it alittle wider stance.

You did some snazzy work on that Redcat! Out of the box, which one would you say was the better rig of the two?

I never realized, cus I didnt pay it too much attention, that the RS-10 is a MOA setup... very smart of redcat to make a RTR like that, its very unique. After the work you did it must be a beast compared to stock. Is it 4WS, or arnt they stock 4WS? IDK.

Man after see'n this, I gotta fever to go get one. Id like a smaller MOA then my Clod Super, and Im not interested in the high priced bergs as I just want something to play with in the garage or house.

Nice USA body BTW , you do that yourself too?

It was 4WS out of the box but I have that locked out. As for the better of the 2, I will say the redcat is by far. For the price and what you get, you cant beat the RS10. Yes there isnt aftermarket parts that say they are a direct fit but as you can see there are many options available. I just ordered aluminum knuckles for it today and I will be ordering either a VP Incision or FLM SPV2 chassis tomorrow. The next step is a better speed control, punk dig, and hopefully Holmes Hobbies will come back out with his 380 motors soon, if not I will try some others. The axles are a great design since the center section is higher for more ground clearance, unlike the straight axle Berg/Bullys. If someone would make steel gears and aluminum axle housings the RS10 would be one of the top MOAs out there, but Ill make a hell of a shot with what I have!!!!!!

Theres alot more coming for this rig, its just a matter of getting the support. You cant go wrong with what you get for the price and the real potential it has.

hey man you got rid of the traditional rs10 batwings. It looks different now. I should consider trashing those too. Im almost done with the dig box on mine. I cut the foams and they feel soft.

Thanks!!! The RS 10 is currently getting a complete makeover including a homemade chassis similar to a beetlejuice, Losi shocks, relocating the lower shock mounts to the axle, new lower links, custom delrin upper links, and the rooster crawler ESC and new motors. I should have more pics towards the end of the week as I get everything done.
