Default super build using redcat axles.

i bought a redcat super crawler back in the summer the more i played the more it changed sorry i dont have pics at every stage but i will post some of its current form.

the parts list is as follows:
redcat super axles
65T silver cans
holmes torquemaster brxl esc
7950th servos
punk dig
ko propo ex1-ur radio
8 cell nimh saddle pack
stock redcat beadlocks narrowed to 1.75" for now ( till i get the big ones in the mail)
40 series crushers
custom suspension/ servo mounts by me they will be refined slightly and made from aluminum shortly
BTA steering by me very easy with these axles just turn the knuckles around and move the tie rod to the top of the knuckles.

i will get a few pics shortly and some more detailed ones later.

the hitec servos handle the tires well at 6v. every once in a while i get them bound up i think 7.2v will fix that problem.

it still doesnt quite have the wheel speed i would like i think im gonna go to 12v on the batteries and see how that works.

the body is a 1/10th scale redcat something i dont remember. im a heavy truck and equipment mechanic i couldnt find a dozer body so i thought this one fit pretty well.

these axles can be bought piece meal from redcat on the cheap i think they are a good base for a low budget monster.

ill try to get some pics tomorrow of the monster bling wheels i got in the mail today with the biggest plowboys ever made mounted on them. Novas Ark hooked me up right/

thanks for the comments, and i am always open to suggestion. me and some buddys are always looking at something and saying what if and i am usually the one that says lets see.

i will get some pics of the wheels and tires tomorrow as i refuse to go out on any calls for the next two days. my work really cuts into my hobby time. but i cant gripe to much cuz i am self employed.

Wow. Bullys on the Hustler. That could be the first.. It should be bomb proof with that combo. You will have to post pictures when you get it together.
