Default redcat battery

does anyone know how long to charge the stock battery? The charger doesn't have a light or any instruction in the manual.

really? mine only takes about 25 mins on a decent charger. Your manual also states that you should Never charge you battery over 5-6 hours.

The stock charger isn't that good anyway. Even if you charge the battery for about an hour, I was only getting 15 min runtimes at most. On a better charger I get almost 45 mins on it.

It's a 1500mah battery (milliamp/hour) and the charger is a 500mah so, the math says 3 hours. Upgrading the battery is one of the best things you can do to these rigs, even useing the same size battery with good quality cells will increase your run time quite a bit.

1) Change to the Tenergy 3800mah square battery - DO NO use a stick battery and there is no real need for splits. 2) Go to NitroRCX and pick up a ExceedRC charger 51C00-AC-Charger w/indicator light for all of $4 plus shipping. They work quickly and dependably.
