Default Redcat crawler help

Ok so my little brother wants to get into crawlers but doesn't wanna spend the $325 something dollars that I spent on my Axial crawler. But he wants to know if any of the 1/10th redcat crawlers have dual steering and the lowest price on it. Any help would be appreciated.

They come out of the box with front and rear steering. There's another post here:
Who has the best price on the RS10 right now?
that has pricing on them. $150-160 seems to be pretty average pricing for them.

Honestly, that's like comparing apples to oranges...it's hard to compare a MOA rig to a shafty like an axial. Out of the box, the redcats are a budget entry level rig...and if your brother bought it with that mentality he wouldn't be disappointed, but he probably wouldn't be too happy if he expects it to out-perform a modified ax-10 out of the box. With a few easy mods (which are stickied in this forum) you can have quite a capable crawler that has no problem keeping up with, and even beating venom's and ax-10's on some lines. Check out the RS10 video post...there are several videos of them in action, as well as a video comparison of RS10's and axials.

I bought a redcat, and my buddy has an ax10 by all means the electronics and parts are definetly better quality on the ax10 but the redcat is upgradable.
Were not doing comps mainly just playing but mine goes everywhere his does.
