Default Fried ESC

Today I fried my ESC. Crawlin on some rocks with the stock pack in it I lost forward but had everything else. I borrowed an ESC from a friend and everything worked. Plugged mine back in and no forward. So now I am on the hunt for a decent ESC that isnt going to break the bank. I was thinking about picking one up for a single motor but Im not sure how well that will work. The one I am borrowing is for a single motor and I have some serious lag. I have to got backwards before I steer or it just sits there. On the plus side I did get my servo and new shocks on today. That servo is killer. I picked up a Mayhem high torque standard servo. I think I am going to have to reinforce the servo mounting plate because it moves when I turn right. I also picked up some Spark comp shocks 110mm, which is just over 4", but I dont the longer screws to mount them to my axles so they are still on the links. The shocks are alot softer and more responsive then the stock shocks. All in all a good setup.

Im wondering if my servo iis the reason why I fried both esc's. Last night I fried the one my friend let me borrow. The only thing that has changed in the electronics is my servo. I guess I will have to add a BEC to the mix and see if that does the trick
