From what I understand the banebots do give you a bit more wheelspeed than the stock motors.

and they are a decent quality motor obviously they aren't the greatest in the world being that they are $5 ea but they seem to work good on the rs10's

i just got my banebots in the mail the other day and i finally had time to get one wired up and installed. just running around with the one motor i can notice a huge difference! there is way more wheel speed and it seems to still be able to crawl slowly. im also installing an 8 tooth pinion in the rear so we will see how it turns out! well worth the $16 shipped for two!

thats cool, im still on the big debate on motors. i would love to see how they preform in a video, compared to the stockers.if anyone could post a vid of them on the rocks, it would be greatly appreciated. i love to have good wheel speed , but i also want something that has good torque too.not looking for axle breaking torque yet, just good amount. i honestly dont even know how the stocker preform due to me just purchasing the axles for my build.

I was comparing the specs on the 380/390 and 395 Banebots and I came to the conclusion that the 395 are I think going to be the ticket when looking at the no load rpm and the stall torque. I decided its well worth the $16 to give it a try anyway. By the time my build is done and I get to test them, hopefully the steel gears will be out and I will be doing the 540 conversion. I have the 395s on the way so I guess time will tell.

so i thought i would update on my motors. i finally got time to get the other motor installed. im running the stock 10t gears. it has a ton more wheel speed! i also tested the slow crawling aspect of it also on a wood pile out back. it crawls better too. the motors almost eliminated all the clod stall. i still get some stall when it gets in somewhat of a bind but it is able to crawl much better! i recommend them to everyone!
