so i went and got a couple of the venom 3s today and wow. it is an insane difference my tuck will flip its self over now. the only thing that i wish is that they had a bit longer run time on them but oh well that extra punch is awesome. maybe ill get some video and post it up here soon. i would highly suggest everyone getting the novac goat esc and some 3s batteries its pretty much amazing. 8t gear in the rear and 3s Lipo did the trick for me too.  I run a 3900mah 3s in the stock batt location (on a custom skid) for bashing and a 1300mah 3s on the front axle for comps. Still on the stock motors and no complaints.

Search the Electronics forum for inexpensive Lipos, there are lots of them out there. Using a 3900 I didn't need a very high c rating to feed these 380 motors with plenty of current. I think the battery I have is a 10c or 15c and I paid less than $20 shipped for it.
