| Delrin links or Aluminum
Which would be stronger? I can get basic aluminum high clearance links, but it would seem delrin would be better for going over things?

Delrin is very strong and slides over rocks much better than aluminum. I would recommend at least 5/16". Anything less flexes a little too much for my taste.

I'll second adale's recommendation on the 5/16'' delrin links. I love mine.

x3 . I made some out of cutting board once, worked pretty good. aluminum tends to pit against sharp rocks and almost sticks to em .

x4 Delrin glides like butter when breaking over a ledge. Aluminum practically glues itself to the rocks. If your rig is 5.5 lbs or lighter, you could do 1/4 inch, but it will flex just a bit. 5/16 seems to be the most popular. |
