| bent links?
just wondering if anyone has got the axial bent links and if you have had any problem with clearing the motor..i bought a set of all aluminum links and am having some issues with the bent links rubbing the motor..Do i need to mount the shocks on the axel? thx any help would be appreciated. |

are you still running the stock bat wing for the upper links? if so you might want to try and make a removal fixture for it or buy one from zno-rc.com and clock your axles a bit forward or try puting a bit longer tie rod ends on to shift the axle forward and raising the motors. you could also try moving the mounting point of the bottom links on the chassis back to where it will draw the bottom of the axle closer to the chassis that will also cause your axle to slightly rotate and lift the motor up a bit. theres a few ideas to try hope it helps. i,ve got the bent links on mine , had a little trouble at first but if you take the play (side to side ) out of the rod ends it works really well. i used washers on mine down by the axle but you can also use o rings once the slop was gone i never had a problem again

thx gentlemen i ended up moving the lower link end to the outside and also put some spacers in the upper links now it works pefect!! Thx for the help much appreciated!!
