Well I satarted out maybe a month ago and was gonna build a delrin bodiless truck. Well it took me 2 weeks and then 2 weeks of repair and tuning. But now i seems to work well. I dont comp for another 2 weeks , so we will see how well it does against the proffesional guys here in nebraska (they do it big). Here are som specs. It is a legal bodiless truck 55t terra claw motors stock wheels with washers up front for wight rover whites 2-XL 5 escs TQ3 with push button mod and a 5000 mih lipo Here are the glamour shots. Feel free to ask any questions. |

Well naturally its not as fast with the bigger motors, But I havent been stuck yet. Lipos work real well, I can go for hours with this set up. |

That is an awesome rig man . It looks great and I hope you can kick some pro ars . I just traded a guy for my first set of RS-10 axles and I have been trying to decide what to build . Its no longer a question because you just made my mind up for me . Thanks man . Did you cut the side rails yourself or buy them ? If you did it , how did you cut it ? If not , then where did you buy it .

| There are bodiless chassis' available in the vendor section of this site, such as the t1e moonbuggy and the beetlejuice, to name a couple. If you choose to do it yourself...delrin is incredibly easy to cut with a jeweler's saw or even a dremel.

I first drew my design on a graphics design program, and then I cut them ou tof vinyl, and stuck it to my delrin. Then I cut with a ban saw, and a rotozip. then a file finished her all up. Of course I did some drill pressing too. You can get Delrin for fairly cheap at a local plastics shop. Go Fot It | |
