its most likely the pin in the spur gear housing mine went front and rear and just replaced them with a piece i cut off of a eyeglass screwdriver but allan keys work great too if u need a quick fix..Take the spur gear housing off and ur pin will probably fall out...You can also order ur hardened pins ZNO has them for around 5bks.

yeh i was searching and saw that...i am not 100% sure where to look for the pin, i have the bottom of the axle in my hand with it hooked up and i can feel no slip when i try to spin it and hold the other side. where is the pin exactly? in this spur gear?

thanks

just remove the 4 tiny screws around the housing and the pin is inside that.

ZNO-RC sells hardened pins to replace the soft ones that come stock. Better to replace the perts with better parts IMHO.

you know i tried the hardend steel stuff and i broke those too lol. but i went to my lhs and i got some hinge pins for a losi mini t and those hold up damn good to my cobalts. well i hope that you get it figured out and not look like me when i put down my rig on the start line at a comp and broke both of the alan wrenches. it sucked being done before i even got started.
