Well, there are a few ways. Most common are new motors, more powerful battery, better electronics. For motors, you can do 380 sized which bolt right up...cheaper ones being banebots and nicer ones being holmes hobbies 454 or cobalts. 540 motors are a littler easier to come by and can be cheaper, but you have to mod the gearbox housing for them to fit.

You could always get a higher voltage battery...but that can get pricey really quick. A higher voltage nimh would be the easiest way, but you'd have a bigger battery pack and have to find a place to put it. Lipo is a nicer choice, since the packs are generally smaller, but if you do lipo you'll need either an ESC with a lipo cutoff built in, or a lipo alarm for the stock ESC. If you go lipo, you'll also have to invest in a new charger/balancer which can drive the cost up.

by power do you mean speed or torque? there are a few ways to get both. change pinions which bring up other issues or do what jsowens said. keep in mind it is not built for speed. but speed and crawling can both be achieved if you do it right. i would suggest the 540 mod however jsowens has great luck with the motors he has that bolted right up so it really is preference. good luck.
