| Good weight starting point
I'm about to upgrade the stock tires on my rs10 to some hb rovers, what is a good starting point as far as weight for the axles? front and back.

I have access to sticky weights from work, so I have plenty to mess around with.

i started with 7 oz each in front and 2.5 each in rear, but have since taken it all out of the rear and left the front.

Good starting point...pop an ounce in the fronts and none in the back. If that seems too light, add a little more. Some of it depends on your servo too. If you put weight in and the servo has problems turning the rig, take some out. Personally, I run a couple of ounces in each front and none in the back.

4.5 oz front 0 oz rear. i recently put new sneakers on my rs10, so i think i will be adding another oz. per tire front and rear to help gain traction. just start in the front with a little at a time. keep going until your happy or start to see a drop in performance.

I'm running 6~7 oz per wheel in front and none in rear. I have a 403 oz-in servo that seems to handle the weight. I like this setup with DIG since I can drag the rear up a steep ledge without fliping

i'm running 6oz a piece upfront and 3oz in the back. with stock servos. so far so good. also moved to the inner hole on the steering horn for a lil more torque, granted i cannot turn as tight but hey we have rear steering. |
