Default old newbie - transplanted to Asia

Hello from Bangkok!
I've lived here for a year now (work related from USA) and stumbled across a couple of "Rockfighters" (same as RS10). i have two kids so i had to get two (Daughter 7, son 5). Of course Dad gets to play with them to. I'll post pictures up later

Car # 1 stock with a Helios body - Daughter loves Halo (junk servos replaced)
Car # 2 stock body cut down, wings eliminated, Hammer 2.2 tires with stock foams, lower shock mounts slid forward, servo-ectomy.

Its fun since i can have a direct comparison of how stock versus modified works. sad to say so far Car #1 outperforms Car #2 on the few rocks i can find around here.

I have just ordered a bunch of parts from CPE to see if i can get #2 to be the superior beast. It will be interesting to see how much customs tax i will have to pay.

I have to say 20+ years ago i had a Kyosho Optima and although it was faster, these rigs for out of the box performance are amazing. You really get a lot of bang for the buck or since i am in Thailand "Bang for the Baht".
