Default Redcat Xt motor swap ???

I've read the tips and tricks forum, but the question remains, What motors?
Things to consider:
1) I have the stock 390's already and they are "ok"
2) 540 is not a option.
3) No brushless
4) Reducing stall would be key.
5) What have you tried and liked or disliked. THANKS IN ADVANCE!

If 540's aren't an option for you, that cuts your options down quite considerably. Banebots are a decent cheap option...or you could drop some cash on holmes hobbies 454's which are also quite nice. There are a couple of others floating around that some of these guys have tried, so maybe they'll chime in. The biggest issue you'll face is that there aren't many motors that people have actually tried. There's a small handful. You could also go to 3s lipo batteries and get a bit more power out of the stock motors.
