Exclamation crawling with other redcats rs-10s

so i was wondering if i can crawl with other redcats or other crawlers? would i need to get a controller with more channels or would they not mess with the signals? my friend has a redcat, and my girls brother ordered one and so did his friend so i wanna know if ill be able to crawl with them at the same time? if u have any idea please let me know thank u for reading.

I believe it depends on ur crystals. As long as they're different #'s you should be fine.

Yep, check the crystals on the radio/receiver. If they're the same numbers, you'll have all kinds of interference. You can get replacement crystals at most hobby shops.

Really? Hmm, i never woulda guessed it would be the crystals. Thanx for the replies ill check it out and see what happens.

Yep as long as they are all a diff number none will interfere with each other, the crystal labeled tx goes in your radio and other labeled tx goes in your receiver very inexpesive to I keep a few sets on hand just incase!

my buddy and I run all the time together, the rs10 has different crystals then the XT. We also tried using some Traxxas ones but couldnt get them to work in the rs10.

Did you make sure that you got FM crystals instead of AM? The stock rx/tx on the original RS10 is FM...and I would imagine the XT is as well. On my traxxas tq3 radio, it's an AM setup.
