| steering modes reversed
i have been reading alot about the rs10, so when my front servo went, i wasn't surprized and went to lhs n got a new jr steal gear servo. after instalation my steering modes are reversed, mode 2 says it is crab steer but it now is 4wsteer, and 4wsteer is crab and i don't know why, or how to fix this. i reversed the radio but that dosen't help, the front axel turns correctly with either servo . any idea as how to fix this?

Be sure to go back through the settings on the radio. There is a setting to reverse the direction the servos travel.

On the stock radio: Press SEL button once (will show CH1 on the screen) next press the steering trim button once (the one over the steering wheel) Repeating the operation will reverse again, it's easy. |

| Bump...
Does anyone have the answer to his questions about crab walking and 4wsteer being reversed? I have the same problem after throwing in a new front servo. I played with the thing all weekend trying to get everything working according to the LCD display, with no luck. |

the sel+trims steer will swap both wheel steering, and the problem here is only one set of wheels. so your solution is swap + and - in one of the servos, i think. the problem is that you get 3 cables so you should look at the wiring diagram...

I had that same problem with my rs10. Because I didn't feal that I was that great at soldering I didn't reverse the polarity in the servo. Instead I bought a servo reverser for a plane i think. It has an extra plug that you don't need. And for about $10 for a noob like me that can be a good way to go. Also the rear servo will give out someday and if you get the same servo as the front that will solve You problem to. I hope this helps.

Will it cause any damage if You run it on the crab crawl mode to get it to run the all 4 wheel steering?

Not when I did it for months before I got a servo reverser and then a new servo.

| Re: steering modes reversed unlikely it will cause any problems except irritate you My guess is the problem is with the TX. Have you tried removing the batteries waiting for a minute, installing fresh ones and re-binding it?

The solution for me was just to add the identical servo to the rear steer then it all went back to normal..my 2 cents
