That's a sweet looking rig. LOVE the links! I'm partial to the Bug body as well. Nice work my friend.

Hey, do you have a link to the wheel wideners you used. I wasn't aware they were made for these.

Thank you. Yup, You'd think I'd know that, considering I'm running AX10 knuckles...

Very nice RS10, or what's left of it, haha. I am new to this forum and have a question. Hoping someone can help. I installed Integy 30degree bent links on my RS10XT and am having trouble with them rolling back and forth in the ball links. They move so much that they rub the motors or sometimes the tires when steering hard. Is there any way to mount these differently to eliminate the roll of the links? My ball links themselves when threaded don't stop when I screw them all the way in and are not tight to the ends of the bent links. Do I need new ball links? Thanks in advance

you should really start a new thread, not high jack someone else's, plus you will get more coverage that way.

Thanks for the info, and the pics. Truck, or Bug I should say, looks great. I lve the racing stripes. If I do buy wideners, I'll get the Integy ones for sure. They look pretty good.

Did you bend your own links, or pick them up somewhere. The look really cool. More importantly, they look like they would work well too. I have a set of Axial bent links for mine. Not sure how they're going to work with the 540's. Something like what you have would be great!

I bent my links . I never used Axial links , i don't know if they're going to work with the 540's . Front links aren't not so bad and upper links are good (rear just a little too long) but rear links aren't good , they annoy me . I'll fix it soon

Nice work on the crawler. That is one HIGHLY MODIFIED rs10. now. lets see how she crawls!!! So, I also tried the integy 15mm axle extensions. I Really didn't like the way they performed. They moved the wheels too far forward and backwards when they turned, making the truck act funny when climbing. Not to mention the extra servo power required (especially climbing a ledge)

How do they work for you?

Thx . I hope to finish the chassis and the links this week and make some test saturday .
About the integy 15mm axle extensions . Nothing to report . They work good for me and i need to have +15mm or my tires rub the shocks , but if you have better , i take it .

I finished the chassis ,i put chaos at home and now my wife sulking but the chassis is finished . It's made of aluminum side plates thick 3mm , skid plate 1.5mm . I went crazy doing the fixing bars of it. I was inspired by zno's chassis but the size and mounting holes aren't same .

Now pics :

The realization isn't perfect . I hope it will work well .
