have you tried switchin the wires-like hookin the rear motor up to the front motor wires? that would let you know if it's the esc!

Does the motor run at all or is it just that the tires wont move?

check that your pinion on your banebots is nice and snug. I just had that problem the other day. Open the little 3-screw window on the diff, hold a wheel, and slowly give it gas.

all the motors worked on the front axle just the rear is actin like my 10 year old! it will work until an incline and then stops turnin. i also filed a flat edge on my motor so the pinion wont break loose.

| Re: quick question this is the most extreme form of clod stall i have ever seen then. it wont work on some rocks that it could easily climb before. |

what kind of battery are you running? try a fully charged batteries in the rs and your controller. low voltage has giving me some weird issues. Also, did you try using your steering channel as your throttle?

Just swap the plugs on the reciever. What if you go up the rock in reverse does the front do it then

Do the Banebot 395s have a rounded shaft like the 390s? If so, did you grind a flat side on the shaft for the grub screw of the pinion to rest on? That's a must to ensure your pinion isn't slipping.

yes a rounded shaft and i filed a flat edge so the grub screw wont slip . thats why im thinkn its the stock esc but if the front is good could it still be the esc? the 395s seem to run nice on front axle so im out of ideas for what the problem could be.

check that pin. I've went through two sets, one set was hardened. I ended up using a hardened drill bit.

is it possible the esc is giving enough power to the front but not the rear? throttle control is set the same on my tx but im not really sure if this is possible.

Swap motor wires from front to back. I know someone mentioned that already, but I didn't see the answer. If the rear then goes as well as the front was, its the esc. Esc can go bad in just one direction, I just troubleshot my buddy's Losi this weekend, same issues.

| Re: quick question
how many turns are the banebots? I wonder if they just don't have the torque to move the thing? I would try what Jcplante suggested. Turn the truck around and drive backwards up the incline. See if the front axle now has the problem.
