Default Replacement ESC

Hey guys, been out the game for quite awhile. Looking for the best replacement ESC for my buck on my RS10. Plan on running 2s lipo and NIMH as back up. Got all the connectors I need and batteries, just burned up the factory ESC and pretty much got out of it for awhile. Thought about just getting another factory one but the option to go to 3s eventually would be nice.
My cousin had success with the outcry dual motor ESC but I remember it being a little n the large side and space is an issue in my chassis.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks

The HobbyWing Quicrun WP-860 is about the cheapest dual motor ESC I've found and the specs say that it will run up to 4s. The manufacturer's site claims that the built in BEC is 6amps (though most sources I've found claim 3amps.)

It measures 46x26x36, so it's longer than the RC4wd dual outcry (35x33x30) but a little narrower if that helps? I'm not sure if those measurements include the fan though.

They go for +/- $30. I'll probably order one this week since I can't seem to get the stock ESC's high voltage cutoff turned off (so I can run 3s.)

I saw those on eBay, didn't realize they were that big though. I might just grab a stock one and roll with it for awhile, I dunno.
Thanks for the reply!

Traxxas XL 5 ESC LVD Waterproof Slash Rustler Stampede TRA3018R | eBay
New Traxxas Slash 1 10 2WD ESC XL 5 Speed Control Low Profile ID Connector RL9 | eBay
Used Traxxas XL 5 Forward Reverse Waterproof ESC with Tamiya Battery Plug | eBay

this could be an option, the traxxas xl5s are sellinglow on ebay, there are 3 up above, two of them would do fine
waterproof, sturdy. a lot cheaper than a dual motor esc. just "y" them together.

just a thought
