Default Gen 7 noon question

Hey everyone. I was running my truck a little today before work and noticed while I was crawling a small hill that my front left tire will spin with the others but acts like it doesn't have any torque when it's crawling. It kind of free spins when I turn it with my hands. Could someone point me in the direction of the possible problem?

Thanks a ton.

Stripped diff or hex. Or, your axle/hex pin isn't fully engaging the hex.

One side of the plastic 'connect box' (read: locker) (assuming you have an E10 or a Gen7 Sport) beginning to strip?

I tore it down all the way into the pumpkin. It's in the gear I'm assuming.

If it has a plastic locker ("connect box"), it can be stripped but the plastic can become elastic and "rebound" back so that it looks fine to the naked eye.

Huh, seems kinda odd to me that one side would work fine while the other if the gear is stripped. Wouldn't both wheels slip then?

I edited my previous post. Sorry about my confusion. There are so many "gearing" related threads right now, I got mixed up. Maybe the edited version will help you out.

When I get home from work today I'm going to tear it back down. I opened the pumpkin last time but didn't open up the inside of it. So I'll do that.
