Default 3R winch and control

Has anyone here modified a 3R winch? I know that you can use the boards out of servo, and use those to control the winch. The reason that I am asking is that I am looking to "clean up" my wires, and I would love to get the wires tucked up out of the way.

Here is a pic that I found. If anyone has done thins, please post instructions with pics! Thanks!!

Take apart the servo. The circuit board in it had a motor soldered to it. all you have to do is un-solder the motor, and solder the winch wires in place of the motor and its simple as that.

Paint that servo case up like a car battery and stick it under the hood. Maybe remove the gear cover so it's not so big.
