Default Tow Straps/Chains

Anyone know where I can get some toe straps or toe chains? Or how to make them, fairly easily, because I'm not too good at making that stuff.

Thanks,

-Billy

I did, I'm not seeming to find anything about that type of stuff.

Just something I can hook to a tow hook on the front bumper and wrap it around the bumper to make it look a little more like a woods truck.

I guess just use your imagination and fab something up, you seem to be good at that..

I'm the last resort huh? I need a idea of what you want though. Rope, Cable or Chain? Length? Color?

Billy - I posted a few links yesterday but it appears my post was removed along with a few others...
Here's a few links to some ideas about making chains/straps. Making your own stuff is very rewarding; of course, anything T'Kenny hooks you up with--no pun intended--should be great.

I made a working recovery strap and a winch strap last night. I used white shoelace material I found at Wal*Mart and dyed it yellow. They took the dye OK and look like slightly faded real straps. I used the strongest thread I could find in my wife's sewing kit and went to town. I covered the sewn areas with heat shrink tubing. It is a little less scale looking, but should help protect that area. I tested them and so far so good. Since the laces are a synthetic material, they seem stronger than cotton and have a realistic amount of stretch. They don't dye as well as cotton and I used boiling hot water and added salt--just needed another packet of dye I think.
