Default Removable bike rack

With the discovery of a 1/9 scale bike, I knew I had to make a bike rack for one of my rigs. A pajero is a perfect candidate since the bumper already has a hole cut out for hitch. This is mostly for display purposes, but I think it looks cool nonetheless.

I started out with some 1/4 and 3/16 brass square stock. I made a small receiver out of the 1/4 and soldered it to a small piece of brass plate. I then secured it to the body with some small pan head screws. To help protect the receiver hitch, i took some aluminum angle and bolted that up to the body. No matter what angle the truck comes off of, the hitch is safe.

Then i took the 3/16 stock, bent it up and soldered it to shape. I drilled 2 holes for the 3/32 round tube to hold the bikes. Little bit of solder and all set.

I just finished cleaning up the joints and will probably get some paint and brand stickers on it later today. Got some scale bungees made up to hold the bike as well. Hope this was something new and entertaining for you guys.

Thank you. Im looking, but I am yet to find one that doesn't look like a toy/fake brand.

Thank you, pretty simple actually. I just found a regular sticker with some white on it and drew the apple on the back of the sticker backwards. Then cut it out with a sharp x-acto knife. The trick is not to touch the little sticker with your fingers and let it lose its stickiness, as it doesn't have much surface to begin with.
