aluminum brazing so im getting a crelwer soon and planing on bulding a traler for it out of aluminum my question is can i braze it togeathe using a small map/o2 mix torch set i have http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/images/icons/icon7.gif |
i dont know about brazing but last i checked harbor freight carried alumiweld sticks. i have some somewhere in my shop, they work but be careful abut heat distribution and never use water to speed up cooling. i used a propane torch so you might not want to use the o2 |

Shoud've let me build you a trailer:lmao: Just kidding |
The trailer i made for the honcho i plan on buying sooner or later. Specs: Old peice of paneling, 10 inches wide, 18 inches long:shock: http://i800.photobucket.com/albums/y...Trailer001.jpg And the tow rig. I do not have a 5th wheel hitch in it. I drilled a hole in the bed and through the aluminum and put a nut and bolt on there to hold it to the body.:flipoff: http://i800.photobucket.com/albums/y...Trailer002.jpg |

Here is my yet to be finished 1:10 scale offroad/camping trailer. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showt...=scale+trailer |
Here are my trailers. The big one was made from a store shelf, bulk threaded rod, and 4-Tec wheels. The smaller one is actually a model display trailer. I left out the display case part and it matches up pretty well with my micro crawler. http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x...s/101_3576.jpg http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x...s/101_3591.jpg http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x...s/101_3577.jpg http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x...s/101_3579.jpg http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x...s/101_2917.jpg http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x...s/101_2864.jpg |
