| What toy driver to buy
Im workin on a jeep tuber and need a driver. I got a cheap-o at dollar general that does not have much movement at all. I need one that is 6-7 iches tall and cannot find one at walmart to save my life. I find really small ones. Where can I find some taller ones and what brand do i need to look for as far as them being capable of holding stuff?

I had to go to toys r us to find one. I ended up getting the terminator and cutting his legs off to fit in my jeep. |

Most of the wrestling figures are the size you're looking for. |

most of the wrestling figures are un human in size comparison. 7" inch dolls seem to be the best for most builds. I have Arnie in my Terminator build. |

my wife thought i switched sides when i went to a thriftstore just to buy a ken like doll, then when i explained that i justed needed his clothes to put on an action figure for my truck she went back to her previous opininion of me "your stupid" .Anyways to get the right driver for my truck i had to cut off his legs, cut his arms off at the elbow then electrical tape them back together so i could get his hands on the wheel with the ken doll clothes on you cant see any of the cuts i had to make to the driver and he fits perfectly |

too bad i dont have a kid i could use for an excuse lol. Ive never though about cutting them down to fit either. I looked on ebay just now and seen several life like guys but i dont know how flexable they are. I though bout that guy off twilight edward i think, my wife likes him anyways:?. seen a scare face guy that looked flexable too but both of them are wearin suits. I need a redneck lookin guy for my rig. suit an tie just dont go with rock crawling. Im just gonna have to keep lookin in stores for now i guess. i hate to spend 20 bucks and not be able to see it in person first to make sure it will work.

My driver (John Lock from the "Lost" TV series) {see avitar -left} was a perfect fit and match for my woodlander Tamiya f350. "McFarlane" I believe was the maker. A bit pricey and not posable but the detail is unmatched! You can see the veins in his hand... It's that detailed. I cut his arms at the attachment joints and repositioned. Waste had to be removed at the beltline. You "can" heat and bend them but I didn't need to. I also picked mine up on eBay. I think I paid about 35 bucks for him but feel the detail was well worth it. i went to the local farm supply store and the lady working there told me about the scale figures for the breyer(horse)collection. there are 4 or 5 different guys and a few girls. they come with chaps on, but they can be taken off and there are nice bluejeans under them. they are between 1/8 and 1/9. |

My local Mills Fleet Farm carries these (cheaper than the site too, I think): http://www.hunterdan.com/ They are 8" tall (1:9), have a bunch of gear...also duck blinds and Real-Leaf tents! http://www.hunterdan.com/store/acc.html Last edited by the_ghetto_rig; 01-23-2010 at 06:04 AM. |

They just got these in b/c ive never seen them. Of course the WWE guys were wiped out and I dont want M.V.P. lol Gonna check some of the above links out. Thanks |

| Well I got a driver finally, I hope he works. I havent had time to go see how he fits but im pretty sure he will. Not exactly what I had hoped to find but im tired of looking. I may have to drill a hole in the right hand. Its balled up in a fist. It has alot of movement to so thats a plus. I like the bass fisher on the hunterdan site but i think it a bit too tall. |
