| Snow's coming...time to hitch the Sleds!
I saw these toy R/C snowmobiles at Farm & Fleet and I could not resist. Of course you need a way to move them around. Que a custom snowmobile trailer: They do run.....about 3mph on a hard surface......A little hop up in the future maybe? Tie em down. Don't want to leave them behind. Only 12th scale so a little small behind a 10th scaler but not bad. $10 each so why not get 2. Delrin and fiberglass trailer construction with torsion suspension. May need to do a 2nd revision and add running lights. |

Very nice! What a great idea! What did you cut your delrin with? Looks like great smooth cuts. |

Funny how time flies. Does not seem like 1 1/2 years ago that I made that. Never did hop up the sleds. They run on 2 AA batteries. I thought changing the elects and add a small 2S and mini brushless would wake them up. |

Well thanks, and I was wonderin that because some of the cheapies have little plastic wheels that push it, whil the track is platic, and stationary. I usualy don't look at the post dates... should start to do that. Last edited by mitchr97; 06-03-2012 at 09:31 PM. |

They have little wheels under the skis but the track is rubber and driven.
